Only one year was made a pause in the “Master Rally”. Marathon 1999 was very memorable because of the extremely difficult route passes through many countries, but in every place the participants waited for the fans happy.
Contestants had to start in Russia, to pass through Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and finally, to finish near the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul. Competitors from Russia, who declared himself as the driver KAMAZ, had to give up on a rather strange reason: he simply did not find opponents.
For the first time in this “Master Rally” kicked off the crew from Israel. Each of the participants spoke very positively about this rally, and indeed the preparation was very high. Many motorists were talking about this rally: “In this marathon just come to the finale – it is a big victory and achievement!”.
