The story
A two-year rally was interrupted, and that in 1995 the marathon was again renewed with the support of the Master Group.
After some hesitation Rally Paris-Beijing was renamed to “Master Rally”. The race was attended by more than 50 motorists: they had to travel 12 thousand miles from Paris and Beijing, including Moscow and Ulan Bator. This rally was not so competitive, like the others, but this marathon was very vivid and memorable because of its unusual route, which captured nearly ten countries. Pierre Lartigue, participated in many competitions, multiple world champion and twice champion of the “Paris – Dakar for the first time felt himself in the role of the driver’s military KAMAZ.
Lartigue gathered his close-knit and friendly team that throughout the race have shown good results and was represented in the category of truck team “Kamaz-Master”. Spectators are warmly welcomed all participants and, unlike other races, road rallies that were filled with fans. Surprisingly, and in the desert and impenetrable regions of Kazakhstan, Altai mountains, Mongolia marathon contestants were waiting for a friendly and hospitable people in these places.
